Security and Account Access
This article explains how account security works, how access to your account is protected, and what you can do to keep your services secure.
Before continuing, review How to Access Your Client Area to ensure you can sign in successfully.
Protecting Your Account
Your client account provides access to billing, services, and support. Securing this account is critical to preventing unauthorized changes or access.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Password Best Practices
Use strong, unique passwords for your account and services. A secure password should:
- Be at least 12 characters long
- Include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
- Not be reused on other websites
Avoid sharing your password with anyone, including developers or third parties.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step during login.
When enabled, you may be asked to enter a one-time code from an authenticator app after entering your password.
Enabling 2FA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized account access.
Managing Authorized Access
Only trusted individuals should have access to your account.
If additional users require access:
- Limit access to only what is necessary
- Remove access immediately when it is no longer needed
- Review account activity regularly
Shared access increases risk if not managed carefully.
Recognizing Suspicious Activity
Signs of potential account compromise include:
- Unexpected password reset emails
- Login alerts you did not initiate
- Changes to services or billing you did not request
If you notice any of these, take action immediately.
What to Do If You Suspect Unauthorized Access
- Change your account password immediately
- Review recent account activity
- Check billing and services for unauthorized changes
- Contact support to report the issue
Acting quickly helps minimize potential damage.
Common Problems & Fixes
- If you can’t log in, verify your password and check for account lockouts.
- If access is denied, confirm you are using the correct email address.
- If you lost access to 2FA, contact support for recovery options.
- If changes were made without permission, secure your account and notify support immediately.
